Hi everyone, and welcome to my blog. Today I am going to be writing a story, so just relax and enjoy.

It was still early in the morning when mom came to our room to get prepared, gather anything we had to gather, and also greet friends we would have to greet cause we would be going on a long vacation the next day and she doesn't know when we would return. It's not like we are moving out, as Linda said to herself.
Before I continue, my name is Linda, and I have a family of three: me, my mom, and my sister. Our dad died when Lisa, my younger sister, was three, so mom has been taking care of us since then. and she never for once allowed us to feel our dad's absence; she was the best mom anyone could ever ask for. Okay, that's that, and now she's saying we are going on a vacation again. I hate to travel because I always fall sick, but Lisa is always excited about every vacation because she gets to take more pictures and have more adventures.
Linda: mom, do i have to come on this vacation with you guys, you know i don't like travelling
Mom: c'mon baby girl it going to be a fun trip and we are going to be travelling by air this time so you don't have to worry much
Linda: but mom where exactly are we going to this time
Mom: okay there's this newly opened resort and it is located in an island, a friend of mine works there and she told me i'd love it and i also told her am coming with my girls
Linda: mom because your friend recommend it doesn't mean we should go there
Lisa: big sis just ncome off it, you will be fine
Mom: Lisa You really need to talk to your sister; I can't believe she still hasn't gotten used to this traveling stuff, and she's a daughter of mine.
Well, Mrs. Drey My mom loves traveling a lot; that really helped her a lot after my dad died, so we have to live like that. Now Lisa and I have been packing our stuff and preparing for the journey, and Lisa is here calling her friends and telling them about the new adventure she is about to explore. I have only one best friend, Faye, and when I called her earlier, she said she would be coming to my house soon.
Faye got to my house later that day, and she wouldn't stop talking.
Faye: i wish i can come with you guys, it will be really fun
Linda: yeah right, seriously i don't no why mom always make us travel every vacation
Faye: oh i wish, but i think i heard my mom and dad saying we might be going to see our grandma this vacation well i can't wait
Linda: "Oh, really, that will be nice; send my regards to them too.
I've been to Faye's grandma's house before, and she was a very nice, beautiful woman. Faye left my house later in the evening, and we went to bed. We woke up in the morning, had our bath, and mom had already called the driver who would be taking our luggage to the airport. we got to our destination finally, after four-hour journey

The driver who was to take us to the resort was already waiting for us, so we left immediately. Lisa was busy taking pictures, mom was on the phone, i guess she was talking to the friend that recommended the place to her, and I was just looking at the area as our ride moved. The place was indeed beautiful, with the oceans on both sides. It was a really beautiful view, so I decided to take a few pictures too. When we got to the resort, we were wowed. It was really beautiful,

They took us to our lodge, and after settling in, we went to the restaurant. All the food there looked and tasted delicious. we later went down to a park the night view of the park was so beautiful

We really had a great time, and that was the first trip i would ever enjoy. The next day after breakfast we took a ride around the resort; mom was with her friend so me and Lisa had to go together, and it was really fun. We made videos and snapped pictures, we made new friends, and Lisa got me a boyfriend too, even if I didn't approve of it. Mom joined us later, and we had a good time together. Our entire stay at the island resort was fun. Now it was time to go home and we were really sad but we had to go Lisa can't wait to gist her friends about how it went and me too i can't wait to gist Faye. even if we didn't want it to end we had to go home, but mom promised we would visit there again
