Hi hivians, Welcome to my blog. I will be writing on the dismissal I had shortly after receiving an interesting proposal.
A friend of mine called me one morning and told me that there was this audition going on that she would like me to participate in and that I would really like it. She sent me all the necessary info I would need and told me to go through it. I went through it and saw that there were different things one can audition for, such as dancing, acting, modeling, singing, magic, etc. I got interested in it, and I decided to apply since I can dance. I will just be doing a few more practices before the day for the audition comes. I asked my friend to tell me how to apply, so she said she would send me someone's number that the person is in charge of it. After she sent the number, I called the person and told him my friend told me about the audition and I wanted to apply, so he said no problem and said all I have to do is come to the center to get my form and they will be doing an orientation that I should join too. He gave me the date to come, and I went on that day, bought the form, stayed for the orientation that i should join too, he gave me the date to come and i went on that day, bought the form stayed for the orientation and went back home.
I took my time, practiced for the audition, and since I would be dancing, I would be giving them the song I wanted to dance to too, so I used the song to practice. I even went to buy a new dress for the audition just to make everything blend, even if it was not perfect. We were told that if we passed the audition, aside from winning any prizes, we could even get to see sponsors, if we impressed them. So after everything, on the audition day, I went for the audition. There were a lot of people, so we took numbers, and when our number is called, that is when we will go in for our audition. it was my turn so i went in did my best so as everyone that was there. After that day, the people that will be going for the second round were announced, and my name was among them. I was so happy that I was just jumping and screaming, but no one knew why I was like that. Later that day, I got a call from one of the participants saying that they were dropping some people again, and it seemed to them that I should check to see if my name was still there. I said okay, and just as I hung up, I got a text message from them saying they are sorry, but an issue occurred, so they will have to remove some people, and my name was among the ones they were dropping
I became very sad because I had looked forward to this, and now I was getting this kind of news. I felt really bad, but I had to let it go and embrace fate; maybe that wasn't for me. I know mine will come, so I am not rushing.
