It was another holiday, and we would be visiting Grandma. I am so excited about this because anytime we are with Grandma, it is always fun packed, from the dishes and everything down to the moonlight stories, and that's the part I enjoy most because Grandma gets to tell us about different kinds of stories, and I am sure this time won't be different, so I am already looking forward to it.
Jade Make sure you pack all your things because we will be leaving soon and I don't want to hear that you forgot anything 'mom shouted from the parlor. That's because the last time we went, I almost fustrated her because I left one of my favorite teddy bears and my sisters wouldn't stop laughing at me.
We got to Grandma's house late that day and everyone was very tired. Grandma had already prepared a nice delicacy for us, so when we got there, we just took our things to the room, freshened up, and headed back to the dining table. We finished eating, and everybody went to bed because we were all tired.
The next morning, everybody woke up, we did the morning devotion, and after that, everybody greeted Grandma. Breakfast was already prepared; there were different kinds of dishes, and they all tasted delicious; Grandma was indeed a good cook. We went to do a few house chores. Everybody was in the parlor when Grandma brought fruit for everybody. Then she said story time; though it was not yet night, everywhere was boring, so grandma decided to spice up the place. I was the most excited person in the room, so I asked Grandma which story she would be telling us. Grandma asked everyone to sit down and listen, which we all did, then Grandma started.
Today's story is about a little boy who loved animals, and he had always imagined going on an adventure. He had different kinds of animal toys, such as dogs, tigers, elephants, tortoises, cats, monkeys, etc., but he loved the elephant more because he had a long nose and it was very big. He had always imagined riding on the elephant's back and what it would feel like.
One day the little boy was playing with his toys when he fell asleep and woke up and found himself in a different place. It was so colorful everywhere; he has never been to such a place, he thought to himself. As he was wondering within himself, he heard a voice behind him say, "Welcome to Lala Land.", He turned and saw a parrot talking to him; he was amazed; he has never seen a parrot talk. The parrot continued saying, You seem to be lost; come with me; I will show you around and introduce you to the rest.
The parrot took the little boy around and introduced him to the other animals. As he had said before, the boy was overwhelmed by this sight. He saw different kinds of animals that he has always wanted to see, and they were all kind to him. What was more amusing to the little boy was that he could understand them and they could understand him too; he never thought that was possible, but he was happy that at last he gets to see all these animals in real life. Just then the ground became shaky, which got him scared, but the parrot told him not to be afraid because it was just the elephant. The boy screamed out, Elephant! I would really love to see the elephant; take me to him. So the parrot took the boy to where the elephant was, and he was very happy to see the elephant!

He then asked Mr. Elephant to carry him around on its back, which he gladly did. The little boy had so much fun in Lala Land, but he had to go home now because it was morning and his mom came to wake him up, so he bid them goodbye and said he would come again before he woke up. And that's the end of my story, grandma said. We all clapped for her.
It was time for dinner, so everybody left for the dining room as mom set the table with the help of my older sister. I just kept wondering what it would be like to have that kind of dream that looked so real. it will be a very nice feeling though
