I got a call from my dear friend and she was so excited over the phone. I probed further to find out why her joy was overflowing and she confirmed that she just got engaged. I was so elated for her I could not even contain my joy. The next question that followed brought a rush of emotions to me.
My baby girl asked me to be one of her bride's maids during her wedding. When I was younger, people use to make me their little bride and I don't even have pictures to mark those memories. So this was my first actual bridesmaid duty where I was close to the person getting married and it made me so happy.
Fast forward to the wedding day, everything went so great and we were blessed with beautiful weather, great vibes, amazing people, and the energy was super lit. It was a moment I would forever cherish as I was part of a dear friend's big day.
I wish her all the best in her marital life and I pray her home is blessed with laughter and joy forever.
