WHAT HAPPENS WITH THE PAYMENTS?
Note: The payments for premium subscription are burned (if you decide to pay with PKM) or sent to the @pkm-rewards account to be distributed as rewards to PKM:SPS liquidity providers. What this means is that, the subscription payment itself is not collected by PeakMonsters team, but used as rewards for the community.
Previously all we had to bulk price your rentals was Low Market however it was very volitile and wasn't a consistently good way to price rentals.
We did a massive upgrade on the Set Rental Prices feature in PeakMonsters. Now, you have more options when setting up your rental prices. This pricing is based on actual market data. Meaning, the pricing basis of these new metrics is the actual rental data in the market over your specified time period.
There are 6 new market pricing metrics that you can choose from:
You can also adjust the timeframe (6, 12, 24 hours, or all) that will be used as a data reference when pricing your rentals.
With the new market pricing tools, you'll have an easier time renting out your cards, and it will be based on the actual rental rate that your cards are going for.
Premium users can now change the rental price of cards while they are rented out!
FYI: Splinterlands teams is doing a change to this and disabled it until this coming thursday.
You no longer have to wait for the rental contract to expire before you can adjust your rental prices. Now, you can save more time and it's easier to keep your rental prices in line with the current market prices, with this new feature and the additional market pricing options.
To update your rental prices while it's rented out, you simply have to use the change price option as you normally would when your cards are not yet rented but listed.
Previously, you can only compare your rental price based on low market price. Now, you can compare it with 6 more metrics as shown below.
In this example, we compared the 66th percentile data with what our cards are currently rented at.
Based on this data, we can make a more informed decision if we want to update the listing prices of our cards (if we want it to be rented faster once the current rental contract ends) or we can just leave it as is if we want to opt in getting the chance for a higher yield.
All the Compare by options are available to premium users. This includes the Price Gap (unlocked at account tier level 5), Price at level (unlocked at level 5), and our newly released Active Rentals compare page (unlocked at level 9).
This compare page gives users the data on how much Active Rentals are going for in the market. You can easily adjust the levels and timeframe with the dropdown, and apply filters to quickly see the cards that you are interested in.
The Active Rentals compare page can give you a quick overview of which cards are currently rented out at good rates.
Aside from duplicates, we have added two more advanced filters: rented for and recently used. These filters can help you have a better look of which cards are planned to be rented for more days, and which cards you use when playing.
Quick tip: If you are planning to create a collection set that you use in your ranked games. You might want to use the Recently Used filter to easily see which cards you normally use in your matches and add these to a set.
