These things twist reality. What you see it’s flipped 180º so you can see inside of the ball as it is in reality. The colors are exagerated a bit by pushing the saturation slider up on Lightroom, the editing software.
I think editing is a key part in achieving a unique look and to create signature look that is recognizable by everyone (along with eye, composition, etc.). Sometimes, when shooting with my friends, we put tripods side to side to get the same shot. The edit is what distinguishes both shots.
