Some tips for anticipating grasshoppers

As was written in a previous post, that lately there are areas attacked by locust pests in large numbers.

A large number of locusts have attacked Indonesian territory, this happened several years ago. Then in 2019 the grasshopper also attacked farmers' crops that are being cultivated in African countries. When you see this situation, it is also possible to attack other countries.

Maybe this year 2020 or 2021 will also attack several other countries as has happened in the past few years.

Then what steps #must be taken so that grasshoppers do not attack our territory?

So in this case there are some tips that we must do to anticipate the presence of grasshopper outbreaks at this time. So these tips have been done by Indonesian citizens in anticipating their presence.

These tips are also based on the experience of Indonesian farmers in anticipating the arrival of locusts in large numbers.

Although the tips are not entirely in the ward but at least can reduce the population in your area.

• Don't cut down the forest illegally
• If in the hilly area do not cut down host plants, because their food is found in these leaves
• Keep your forest from getting burnt
• Stay away from behavior that can destroy animal habitat
