An exit scam is a fraudulent scheme wherein the organizers of an initial coin offering (ICO) or a similar fundraising avenue disappears with the investors’ funds acquiring a sizeable sum of money. Be aware of unrealistic and outstanding claims of profit projections, and always invest with founders who have a good track record.
