I was at the opening of the vintage car season this morning. Lots of cars, lots of bikes, lots of photo opportunities. There was an accompanying program, too, even with a choir.
Not only were there impressive American cruisers at the event, but also vehicles from the other end of the spectrum. And most of all, a flurry of motorbikes. A car is just a car. But a motorcycle is a motorcycle.
I've also wondered if these events are attended by the kind of greens who hate anything that smells like gasoline and who stick to the road and deflate SUV tires. But I guess not...

Byl jsem dnes dopoledne na zahájení sezóny automobilových veteránů. Spousta aut, spousta motorek, spousta příležitostí k focení. I doprovodný program byl, dokonce i s pěveckým sborem.
Na akci byly nejen impozantní americké křižníky, ale i vozidla z druhého konce spektra. A hlavně závěje motorek. Ono totiž auto je jenom auto. Ale motorka - je motorka.
Taky jsem i říkal, jestli na takové akce chodí takoví ti zelení, co nenávidí všechno co je cítit benzínem a co se přilepují k silnici a vypouštějí pneumatiky SUV. Ale myslím, že spíš ne...
