My 3Speaking Today

Hey, what's up, players! Over here reporting back again in this my beloved retrogaming channel on 3Speak with a new episode of our series of Zelda: A Link to the Past, so as always I proceed to give you a cordial welcome and hoping that you feel comfortable, then we begin. The truth is that the gameplay that I have brought you today became somewhat long due to the fact that to be sincere I made one or another mistake in this new dungeon known as the Palace of Darkness where according to our guide and mentor, the wizard Sahasrahla one of the maidens is found trapped in its depths, and after I managed to enter said palace with the help of our simian friend Kiki, I found myself with the fact that inside said dungeon besides there being new enemies, one also has to think meticulously how to go solving various puzzles and going strategically managing how to go using the dungeon keys that I find to go opening the gates that are blocking my access to the depths of the Palace of Darkness. I also finally obtained the compass of this dungeon to know exactly where the boss that has kidnapped the Maiden of whom Sahasrahla spoke earlier is located.

🚀 Gameplay HighLights 🔶

  • Facing Traps of All Kinds. Yes, and it is that in this Palace of Darkness a large amount of traps of all kinds are found which seems to me something truly interesting in the design of this dungeon since the traps help in turn the troops of Agahnim that protect the palace, which makes it quite difficult to emerge victorious from each room of the palace. On the other hand, it is necessary to highlight that the nature of the traps is of various types, for example puzzles can be found where besides having to avoid the traps, one also has to push stones to manage to solve the way.

The Traps & the Magic Floor.

  • A Very Original Dungeon. Besides running into new enemies like for example a sort of jellyfish known as 'Bari', I also found myself with the fact that the AI of the enemies in this level like the hardhat beetles could make you try to fall off the various precipices in some levels of the dungeon. By the way I also solved some mazes that became complicated for me at a certain level due to the lack of light in said mazes, where the main objective was to find the chests that contained maze keys.

  • The Compass Was Found. If something I have learned on this long path playing Zelda, is that every time you find yourself doing a new dungeon the item that you must strive to find first is the Compass, especially if you want to go quickly for the dungeon boss, besides that it gives you a better spatial location in it.

The Very Useful Compass!
