How to protect your Steemit password from hackers and scammers

If you have been on Steemit for a while, you might have heard of one or two users having their account hacked.
I certainly have and it did scare me a bit. I share how I think you can protect your password from the people out there who might be trying to steal it.

Make 100% sure every time you enter your password that you are actually on the correct website.
These scammers create duplicate cover sites that makes you think it is the real deal. Once you enter your password, they save it and steal all the money from your account.
Sounds crazy but this actually happens, so just be aware.
