This is my first day on the steemit community and I must say, I'm glad to be a part of this.
I'm very excited about blogging on steemit because it is decentralized and blockchain-based. This means that my posts could be accessible by anyone for as long as steemit is operational. I've used WordPress and Blogger before but I was constantly worried about the fate of my contents in the event that either of the companies discontinued their services.
A Quick Introduction
My name is Paul Omits. I am from Nigeria. I studied Physics. In three to four months time, I'll be going for my Masters' programme. In the meantime, I am involved with cryptocurrencies and block chain technology which I'll be keen to pursue a career in.
My Purpose of Blogging on Steemit
Cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology is a new concept in Nigeria which I'm convinced could open up the country to new vistas of greatness and carve out a place for Nigeria in the committee of nations. Here are my reasons for using steemit:
1. To introduce people, especially Africans, to blockchain technology and the benefits it brings.
2. To give my honest review about projects.
3. To learn as much as possible from the geeks.
4. As an aside, to motivate people to be the best they can be (I am committed to people).
