Hello, friends at Gems, how are you? I’m grateful to God for allowing me to share with you again. Today I’ll be talking to you about the completion of my community service.
Yesterday, after months of doing our community service—during which we were assigned to renovate one of the university’s restrooms— our two groups joined forces and worked together. To be honest, we completely transformed the restroom—we installed a mirror, cleaned it, painted it, added lighting, and so on—not to mention the additional activities we organized, where all of us doing community service in the medical field chipped in to make some small gifts for the children affected by the disaster in La Guaira.
We also cleaned the university’s green space yesterday, but what moved me the most was that yesterday marked the end of one of my chapters at the university. Now, in God’s name, in December I’ll be receiving my white coat to become an undergraduate intern.
