Education is essential, but there are many things that are even more important than education. As you may have noticed, discipline is crucial in our lives and how important it is to be taught. The importance of education in school goes beyond simply providing education, but also in developing every student into a responsible citizen. Such a citizen should bring about a change in their understanding and do something that will be praised, respected, and cited as an example in society. In school, we also teach them about the important values of life, which cannot be learned from books.

In such a situation, if we talk about community service, it means working for society without any profit. You may have noticed that many people work in society but only do so because they see benefits. However, if we talk about a responsible citizen, they work for society without any profit, and this is their greatest characteristic. This is not seen in everyone. There are some individuals whose values are different from others, and only in them is this spirit of community service visible. These qualities of community service are not found in everyone; they only exist in those who have been exposed to it since childhood. Either their parents already did such work or they learned all these things in school.
You must have noticed that in earlier times, community service was not taught in schools and people used to go to school very rarely at that time, but still they had the spirit of community service and they used to do this thing very well, but in today's time, despite having schools with so much advanced education, lack of community service is seen among people, which is a matter of concern because in today's time, better education and advanced education is being taught in schools, but no one is talking about things like community service, whereas along with studies, these things also have great importance.
When children are taught that they have to help the needy people and do something for the society without any selfish motive, then such things instill in them a sense of service which is necessary in a way because in today's time we see that this kind of feeling is not seen in people or it is seen in very few people which is a matter of concern in a way because people have started being concerned only about themselves and they are not caring much about the problems of any other person. If there is a needy person around you and you feel that you can fulfill his need, then you should definitely think about this thing once that we can help him in some way.
People should understand these types of services in such a way that the student does not feel that he has to do this thing forcibly, rather it should be understood in such a way that he can learn these things through easy service. Apart from this, no such pressure should be put on them that if someone is unable to do such services then this or that will be done, such pressure should also not be put which will have any effect on their degree. These services are such that they come in the student by reading a book or listening to a lecture, rather the students should learn to do service with Nishad Bhaav on their own, which can be achieved by explaining it to them in many ways, there is no need to put any medicine in this. From time to time, the students should be taken to such places where they should be made to do selfless services.
When students engage in such service from a young age, they will eventually develop an innate sense of responsibility to contribute to community service themselves.
