Walk around the West Coast of Pangandaran, you can see there is one side of the beach with different looks in the Pananjung Nature Reserve. That is White Sand Beach. As the name implies, this beach has white sand. This is different from most other coastal areas around Pangandaran with brownish sand.
Located in the area of Nature Reserve, this beach is separated by cliffs of rocks with other West Coast areas. To reach this beach, there are two routes we can take that is the land route and sea route. By land, we can enter through the west gate of Pananjung Nature Reserve, then walk approximately 300 meters. While by sea, we can rent a boat from the West Coast area. Boat rental price $ 1passenger with maximum 7 passengers once trip.
The main attraction of this beach is the natural nuance that is still quite awake. Being in a conservation area, you can see a kind of monkey roaming around this beach. Monkeys are quite tame to be approached and invited to play, but some are being aggressive. You can also dive or snorkel in shallow waters near White Sands Beach. The clear water allows you to see to the bottom and observe marine life such as sea horses, starfish, sea cucumbers, oysters and fish that are there.
