View.ly is coming!

I am very excited to talk to you about view.ly. I almost feel like the day i found out about steemit from my friend @starkerz! When he was describing to me how steemit worked, i was so amazed, it was like the future was already here and i had not even realized!

What is view.ly? It is the future youtube.

The main differences being:

1. the people benefit from the value generated by their content and not a centralized, authoritative dictatorship like youtube.
2. your personal information is not sold for profit but kept private
3. your content cannot be deleted once on the blockchain

1. With youtube, the money that youtube makes from you uploading videos is much more than they pay the content creators. Not just this but they also take allot of profits from the advertisements on your videos. In Viewly's situation, as with steemit, the profits go back to the users. Important to notice is that people who will be commenting on the videos will also have the ability to earn viewly tokens, and from what i have seen from steemit, these incentives usually create a gentleman/lady atmosphere. People do not endlessly troll because their account now has real value that they can benefit from and if they are acting inappropriately then their reputation can be destroyed and also the value of their account.

2. As with many social media sites, your private information is not private at all. It is sold to marketing companies so they can directly target the audience they wish, but also on governments that wish to spy on you. All they have to do is drop some $$$$

3. Perhaps the most fascinating thing about view.ly but also steemit, is that once the content is uploaded is now on the blockchain forever! This has HUGE implications for our society as a whole. We are living in the censorship era, where we see crazy amounts of articles, posts and information being deleted by the centralized powers that control them! We are now entering in to a totally new era thanks to blockchain technologies.

Why i think view.ly will become a success.

I think view.ly will become a big success and relatively fast. Reason no1 being that there is an amazing developer team. I have heard really good comments about @furion from people who work with him, and as i heard he himself is a content creator, who suffered under the dictatorship of youtube, which lead him all the way to make this project, wow! Also reason no2 is that there are allot of big youtubers out there who are sick and tired of the youtube bullshit. Where a centralized authority says they don't like your video, delete it or demonetize it and that's it, you just have to take it... When some of the big youtubers make the move to viewly, then allot more will follow.
