My good old movies. I watched the Trinity first before going to watch the 1 and 2.
I have always enjoyed movies where the main character is not fighting for himself but is carrying a much bigger responsibility on his shoulders. That is what makes Blade interesting. He is not your ordinary vampire hunter. He is a Daywalker. He is incredibly strong, and he has made hunting vampires his life's mission. Things become much more complicated when he comes up against a threat far more dangerous than the vampires he has been fighting.
Dracula is the original vampire and the one responsible for the existence of the vampire bloodline. After being awakened from his long sleep, Drake becomes the biggest threat Blade has ever faced. And honestly, I liked the way the movie made him feel different from the ordinary vampires Blade had already dealt with.
I felt pity for blade when the FBI begins hunting him. After a human is murdered and evidence is deliberately arranged to make Blade look responsible, he becomes a wanted man. The authorities believe he is a dangerous killer, while the real people behind the situation are trying to destroy him and his reputation.
Blade eventually comes into contact with Abraham Whistler's daughter, Abigail, and Hannibal King, a former vampire who has been turned back into a human. They are members of a group known as the Nightstalkers
And when their enemies become too powerful to handle individually, Blade and the Nightstalkers have to work together.
I love movie where the villain is not a weakling. An drake is not. he is a worthy opponent to blade.
Drake wants to create a new generation of vampires that will be immune to the weaknesses that have always affected them. If that succeeds, humanity could have a very serious problem. And when you realize how many vampires are already hiding among humans, you understand why Blade cannot afford to fail.
