Hello ladies, community. It is my pleasure to be here again to share my thoughts on this week’s topic;
"If i could swap life with a famous person."
Come to think of it, i have never wished or thought about swapping life with anybody, whether famous or not famous. I really admired and appreciate every one that has worked their way to the top, but for me, i will choose myself over and over again.
Instead of wishing to swap my life with someone else, i prayed to reach that place of purpose and fulfilment, where i am successful in my own being.
Not because i do not admire the successful people or appreciate the beautiful lives they live , but because i believe every individual was created by God to fulfil a unique purpose. Therefore, i will never desire or wish to fulfil another person's purpose but my God-given purpose.
Notwithstanding, every life carries it own burden. Many times,we admire people from a distance, their growth, achievement, success, and the beautiful life they showcase for us to see. Yet behind every famous life, there are pains, sacrifices, and battles both seen and unseen. Hence, the courage and the strength to overcome those challenging phases are given differently.
The story of King Saul and David in the bible explains life perfectly. When David wanted to go to war, Saul ordered that his armour be placed on David. But after putting it on, he was unable to move comfortably on it because it wasn't meant for him. Saul and David were wired differently to fulfil different purposes. Both were kings, both fulfilling purposes, not trying to be like each other.
And that is exactly how life is.
Our shoes are different, even if another person's shoe were given to me to wear, i dont think i will have the capacity to carry them comfortably because those shoes were designed for their journey not mine.
This is the reason i want to be my self, grow into the person God has called me to be, spiritually grounded, solution driven, mentally active, financially stable, emotionally stable, purposeful, creating impact, doing what i was created to do whether famous or not, not in the image of another person but in the fullness of who am really am.
Life is better and most fulfilled when you become your true self instead of trying to become a copy of someone else.
Thank you to the judge of the week, for this week’s #contest
