Hello guys, @pasaift here.
Last week, I wrote a story/poem about female violence. Having heard different stories. So today I came up with this poem. It's a pity this kind of act still occurs in our time.
I live in darkness
though i have tried to find the light
the darkness overshadows me
and i am left paralyzed
i am not afraid of the darkness
i am afraid of his manliness
he appears dark in the darkness
but it radiates, his fairness
he had me bound and took me far
away from my home and family
i had trusted him, he had made me
now i do not know how to hate him
he promised to make me literate
to a school away from home
my mother kissed me goodbye
i adviced my siblings and followed
but instead of the boarder house
he brought me here
instead of the light
i was brought to the darkness
my clothes did he tear
my body he scratched
'i love you this much' he did say
while putting his body on mine
i would kick, i would scream, i would scratch
he would slap me and kick me to still me
i would beg him to stop amist my tears
but he would lick it away and kiss me
he would leave again and leave me paralyzed
the tears have failed and betrayed me
i stare into the dark
strangely enough,
i see my reflection
i am barely a teneger
yet i know certain natural laws
why would you bring a feotus to this world
if you were going to love her this way
he would give me food
he would bring me water
he would force me to eat and drink
i would spit in his face and curse him
he would hold me and cry
"you will understand later" he would say
but how can i
he is my father
I hate him, i hate him, i hate him
i curse him and him alone
for his generation is me and mine
hence he shall bear the curse alone
and so i ready for his next entry
the silver spoon in my hand
he is my blood but no longer flesh
for before his eyes adjusts to the dark
the spoon shall find its way to his neck
and i shall be a bastard
there and then
he opens the door
and heads straight for me...
