Ok, seems like I had a decent start this season; still battling in gold league, but with a within normal win rate so far. Let's hope it stays that way!
As for a broader picture of the coming Splinterlands developments... hard decisions! I should be hoarding DEC to prepare for the coming lands 1.5, since I'll need a full truck of it to be able to get my lands pumping. On the other hand... there's still so many cards I'm missing! Recently, I've finally upgraded 2 cards I was in dire need:
Only got them to level 3, but for now that's all I need, since the skills I needed the most are already present; particularly, the heal in Baakjira at L3 is a gamechanger.
The downside? Spent a bunch of DEC! But hopefully they will help me win some battles, meaning more SPS and more DEC. It's a hard balance between accumulation and improving the cards! I still am missing a few key cards (or better said, I need to get them at a higher level), so I'm probably not done with the spending. Let's see how useful these two badboys will be this season!
How are you managing you accumulation vs deck improvement? Any particular strategy you care to share?
