Scales, furs... or feathers? Which one is your favourite?
I'm more fascinated by scales and feathers than furs but to be true, they all come very close together. For this #monomad challenge, decided to portray some of the beings that live among us. Some harder to see than others, although most of the time more present than what we would think. Think little reptiles, for example.
I can't count the amount of times I've see them darting from the middle of a track to a hiding place in the nearest bush or crevice; I can only imagine how many dozens more were at my side at some point, being myself completely oblivious of it.
Mammals, of course, are another story.
Horses don't usually blend in, do they? Especially when they have a fabulous haircut like this one! But there are some species that are a lot sneakier.
Some only come out at night.
Others disappear when you're still dozens of meters away.
And others, although sometimes sneakier, can get use to your presence, and can even sit still, thinking about life, as you walk by.
The easiest ones to see?
Our #featheredfriends, of course. It's hard not to be noticed when you can fly!
Big or small, these guys definitely caught my attention since a way younger age, and nowadays it's hard for me to see something flying (or perching...) and not wanting to know what species it is. Fortunately nowadays, at least here in Portugal, I have a good idea of what I'm contemplating, most of the time.
Birdwatching is one of my favourite hobbies, and one I don't do as frequently as I would like nowadays.
Heck, even some tiny creatures also get out attention once in a while; so yes, miss creepy bug, I'll feature you in this post as well!
