You'll never know if you never try! I remember meeting a crazy guy in Açores, if I recalled correctly the sailed solo around the world twice, and now owns a restaurant in Faial island. He's really friendly and talkative, and decorated the restaurant with stuff related to all his trips; he even came to my table asking me if I knew this an that island, that I had no idea of! :)) Maybe you'll visit them someday too!
