Over the year, I've accumulated tons and tons of photos. Most of them with the smartphone camera, given how practical it is: being able to snap photos with something you normally carry with you gives you

Little experiments that put a smile on your face. I arrived home today after a crazy work week, and what whas in my mail box? This. A postcard from Taiwan! How cool is that?? 😀 @livinguktaiwan started

So, in a scale from 1 to gazillion... how excited are you with the Lands whitepaper?? There are quite a few pages, but one thing is perfectly clear: it will be almost impossible to max out the plots

After recently reading a friend's post about a lizard skin cactus, I found myself thinking about... lizards. I love doing posts for the #featheredfriends community, but truth be told, I would love to be

Another great SMAP theme for the week: Busy birds! I was wondering if I had photos around that would fit the theme, since my camera is really not that great for action photos; but ended up finding quite

What a busy week at Splinterlands! Chaos Legion sold out, and a new ranked play model on the way! If you still don't know what I'm talking about, you'll find the explanations on this post. I still have

After reading the last post of my good friend @xrayman, i realized how much I miss the warm sunny weather! Good thing is, Portugal is the european country with more hours of sun per year, so I'm expecting

Yep, that's how I feel now, staring at the new toy! My laptop (the computer I used until now) was probably near 15 years. Although a brand new SSD gave it some new life, the truth is that, although

Six more days... and no more CL packs for sale! I don't think we'll have that big of a card prices turmoil, especially given the insane amount of packs in the secondary markets. Alas, I might be too

Guess it is a kind of poetic title... but I'm not much of a poet (or at all!). Yet, posting these snapshots in a #monomad style seems the perfect way of remembering a place very dear to me, in which I

Cool theme for this week's SMAP: Corvidae! Yes, this one will come with a geek part: Corvidae is a family of birds in the passeriformes order; that means they're in the same order of birds than sparrows

Is it just me, or this year seems to be flying by?? Spring will be here anytime soon, and my main goal to reach 5 digits HP seems to be closer and closer... although a bit slower this month. February is

Another season ended, and finally, lady luck decided to pay me a visit! Look how I did: Three packs, and among a ton of cards, finally that awesome water legendary with the weapons training ability! I

The theme for this week's SMAP is free, and since last week it was about little birds, this week I´ll post about a big bird! This big bird is no stranger to anyone, and in Portugal it can be seen all year

Last CL summoner finally revealed! And I think it's going to be pretty used, given the stats. Camouflage to all? Didn't see that coming for sure (no pun intended! :) Honestly, even more than the summoner

I've posted a while back about my first experience with underwater photography. I dived again with the same crappy camera, later that day; but this time the dive was in a shallower spot, which means more

Nop, this is not a travel post. But there was a ton of travelling involved for this contribution to this week's SMAP; the theme is Little Birds! Why travel, you might be wondering? Well, because I decided

First season rewards with the new cards! How lucky were you? I'm guessing the vast majority of the players still misses a few (or most!) of the new cards, so it's pretty exciting to receive a ton of chests

While travelling abroad, one of the things I like is to try and blend in with the locals, and check the places where "real" day to day life happens, away from the fancy hotels and the tourist

How are you enjoying the new cards? Lady luck hasn't been helping much around here; still no epics or legendaries, but already got my hand in a few common ones, and some I was already able to upgrade.
