Hello, welcome to my beloved blog. I continue and end with this sample of sunflowers of my mom, at her home in Venezuela, which I started to show here at @visualshots in August, as a tribute to my mother who had her birthday that month. They were two posts about very special photos that were kept in my archives for two years. Before continuing you can take a look at Part 1 and Part 2. These photos were taken with my old and appreciated Olympus FE-46 12MP camera, which, as I have said before, I still have.

The photos I show you, I remember I took them on a rainy afternoon in my attempt to take macro shots with my little camera. I really liked the way they looked in the rain and as soon as the rain stopped, I almost immediately went out to get a few photos of these beautiful ladies. Sunflowers are exotic flowers that invite you to take pictures of them, in particular they catch my attention, because of their size, their name and their durability, but there are also more spectators who come to them to enjoy them to the fullest, like the melipona bees that feast on them.

The bees swirling and eating on the wet sunflowers, the water droplets, the wet petals and stems, gave me a good show and I tried to take my photos of the sunflowers, and this was the result.

Hola. Bienvenidos a mi querido blog. Continuo y finalizo con esta muestra de girasoles de mi mamá, en su casa en Venezuela, la cual empecé a mostrar aquí en @visualshots en agosto, como homenaje a mi madre que estuvo de cumpleaños en ese mes. Fueron dos publicaciones sobre fotos muy especiales que estuvieron guardadas en mis archivos durante dos años. Antes de continuar puedes mirar la 1ra. Parte y 2da. Parte. Estas fotografías las hice con mi vieja y apreciada cámara Olympus FE-46 12MP, que como he dicho otras veces, todavía conservo.

Las fotos que les muestro, recuerdo que las tomé en una tarde de lluvia en mi intento de hacer tomas macros con mi pequeña cámara. Me gustaba mucho como se veían bajo la lluvia y en lo que escampó casi que inmediatamente salí para que estas preciosas señoritas me reglaran unas cuantas fotos. Los girasoles son flores exóticas que invitan a tomarles fotografías, en lo particular ellas atrapan mi atención, por el tamaño, por el nombre y por su durabilidad, pero también hay más espectadores que llegan hasta ellas para disfrutarlas a plenitud, como las abejas meliponas que se dan un festín.

Las abejas revoleteando y comiendo sobre los girasoles mojados, las gotas de agua, los pétalos y tallos húmedos, me daban un buen espectáculo e intenté hacer mis fotos a los girasoles, siendo este el resultado.
