Hello, welcome to my blog. After spending a month without posting on @amazingdrinks I come to share with you a tea of Aniceto or Hoja Santa as it is called here in Colombia, among other names it also has according to the country you are reading me from. Its scientific name is Piper auritum and I told you about this plant a long time ago, exactly on October 5, 2021. If you wish you can take a look at that publication I titled: Aniceto: Your goodness near me 🍃☕️.
If you went to see my old publication you realized that it is a plant that has many good things to give away and that I had only seen it at an aunt's house in Venezuela. Now here in Colombia I was recently given some leaves as a gift because I have had some relapses in my health, in this case those related to the digestive system, because besides the old problems like gastritis, duodenitis and irritable colon, some doctors have also talked, since 4 or 3 years ago, about a possible diverticulitis or something else, but the truth is that I prefer to stick to my infusions and other natural remedies. Therefore, I am happy to have obtained Aniceto and prepare this miraculous tea that relieves and calms the pain in my stomach, duodenum and colon.
I was given three leaves of Aniceto and the leaf of this plant is big, so, I will take a lot of advantage of it by making several times infusions and I fascinated. The truth is that I am happy and I am going to get to work to make a tea.
Ingredients.
1 Aniceto leaf.
1/2 liter of water. (To make the tea very concentrated)
As you can see I do not use sugar or any sweetener for this tea. Its anise flavor does not need it. But if you wish you can add it to your taste.
Preparation
It is very easy and quick to prepare this tea.
Step 1
I set aside one Aniceto leaf to make the tea and the rest I leave aside to dehydrate and continue using them on other occasions. How pretty the leaf is, it is soft and has that heart shape that makes me think that even in its shape it communicates its goodness and kindness for health.
Step 2
In a teapot or pot place the water and on the stove put it to heat.
Step 3
Cut the Aniceto leaf to release the juice and make good use of the properties of this dark green leaf.
Step 4
Add the chopped leaves to the hot water.
Step 5
Bring to a boil for 10 minutes.
Step 6
Turn off the stove and let cook covered for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Let it steep because for digestive ailments it is not recommended to drink hot tea. After it is rested remove the cooked leaves. (In my case, I used them as a poultice on my abdomen and also on one of my joints inflamed by arthritis).
Step 8
Serve the Aniceto tea.
Look at its green color, it was as I wished. Quite concentrated, so I used only half a liter of water and cut the leaf.
Ready 💚
I now enjoy my tea from Aniceto.
I really recommend this tea, because in addition to relieving digestive ailments, it is useful in case of fevers, flu, bronchitis, headaches and of course for joint pain. This tea fits me and I hope it fits you too.
Thank you for joining me in making my Aniceto tea. ☕️ 🌿
¡Hola! Bienvenidos a mi blog.
