Today I walked and took these photos on one of my favorite nature trails. It runs along a stretch of beautiful wetlands.
The trail follows an old railway line that was in use from the turn of the century thru the 1940s.
Many types of birds and wildlife thrive here.
A Canadian Goose enjoying the water on this beautiful day. I saw several woodpeckers as well but was unable to take any pictures of tbem unfortunately.
I am truly lucky to live in an area with so many wonderful examples of nature's beauty!
