I definitely believe that libraries still have an important place in all the world's societies today and far into the future. I agree that the library of today is far more than just a depository for books and information. It is and can be a community center and a place of fun and learning. A community library also helps give those less fortunate access to the internet. Libraries also provide quality programs and learning opportunities for children as well as adults. I hope I never see the day where public libraries are deemed obsolete.
