In a small town called Calinog, Iloilo in the Philippines, I used my some of my Bitcoin earnings to donate to some young school kids in the town.
They live in slums under poor conditions. And they do not have much disposable income to purchase things like school
supplies.
School is starting in July, and I'm just very happy that these young ones will start off to a great start!
Ms. Lilet Enojo (pictured here) was the one who organised this event, made the banner, and also purchased the school supplies.
It's amazing how a small donation can go miles for other people!
