An arena that is perfect for battle in the sky and here Marian the spectator is seated. One only has to sit in nature with expectations and sooner or later the magic will happen.
Nature always shows her best to her lovers!
Let's start the show!

Not for no reason this Pied Crow (Corvus albus) screamed the alarm!
055.JPG

He was not trying to sing like Elvis (albus), but was rather warning about a danger!
053.JPG

So of course the smaller residents all got onto the bus (albus), in this case a flock of Red-winged Starlings (Onychognathus morio), flew to safety!
047.JPG

The crow's alarm gathered the other crows to prepare for battle!
095.JPG

It all was happening in the sky here in the open part in front of the mountains!
498.JPG

Here we can see a mighty soldier approaching!

This is the reason for the panic and the falcon/hawk/kite was high up!
661.JPG

His tail was the only way that I could try to distinguish what he is, but the tail's end varied between a semi rounding and a v shape in flight!
647.JPG

Clearly a "V" shape here, which would mean either hawk, or kite!
655.JPG

He swooped overhead in the sharp sun, but did not drop lower to where the crows were circling!
690.JPG

Headed straight towards the mountains and with a final sweeping turn flew over the mountains.
665.JPG

That's the lower peak near the middle that the bird disappeared behind.

It was the unity of the crows that scared the danger away.
Although it's only natural for the crows to have fights between themselves, whenever a common enemy appears, they unite as one.
They also "stake" an area with enough space for them all to breed in and they all protect the area day and night!

Which leads to one question here methinks;
How united are all of us here in Hive?

And That's All Friends!

I leave you with this thought;

“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new”!
