At first I had this Sacred Ibis headed straight for me overhead!

It was one of those bad weather days and I will divide each story with a cloud photo to show you what the clouds look like in the open countryside.
This was taken yesterday on a farm in my post previous to this one!

The Sacred Ibis (Threskiornis aethiopicus) came sweeping over.
I love the neat way that they fly.

Here's another one that I took from the car on our way into the farm!

Like I said, I will break each story with a cloud!

Now here we have a very innovative bird!
I could hear the babies crying for food, but there was no way that they could be inside the chimney, as it was covered with bird wire!

I Think it is a "European Common Starling" (Sturnus vulgaris) and this guy had a mouthful (beakful) of worms!
060.JPG

So, he popped down onto the roof gutter!
064.JPG

Ah! The Starlings tore the side weatherproof strip of the roof and the babies are inside!
Now this is what I call innovative, as they are clever enough to poke and tear strips open to nest in a weatherproof roof!

Another beautiful cloud formation at the end of this story above!

Right, the tail shape told me that this is one of the "Harriers" (Circus maurus)!
But I cannot be sure as the light wasn't good!

He was on his way up and disappeared in the clouds!

Finally we had a "Black-headed Heron" (Ardea melanocephala) heading over!
232.JPG

Here you can see the road and the sky as we departed!

This is what I love to do. To be out here in the fresh air surrounded by nature is always a blessing. On our trips out, I always look for vegetable farms, as we constantly have a need for fresh items for our food parcels that we distribute in poor areas.
Great news in this regard is that we have now partnered with an existing non-profit that specializes in food parcels and Papillon will support them financially.

And That's All Friends!

Here below is something to think about!

“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new”!
