We heard from several sources that army tents were being set up on a farm, as the soldiers will protect the farms during tomorrow's riots.
And so we went to the farm on an investigation trip.
I was in the army in the Cape during the years of 1971-72 and I can certainly tell what an army tent looks like.
The sights here looked very structured (army style) and I started snooping around with my camera from a distance. In the back of my mind was the thought that if I get caught taking pictures of the camp, they will think that I was some kind of spy. One never knows and I am too old to go and sit in an overcrowded concrete cell.
Any case, something else was on the brew here and I just had to find out what was going on.

Very suspicious don't you think? Why was there no sign of life in the camp and where were the armed army guards? Also no army trucks or any other scenes of army activities?
Would they bring the troops in overnight, out of the public sight?
And the Jeeps and Bedford trucks, surely, they are going to make a big noise if they were to arrive during the quiet of night?
Will it be a brigade or a platoon of soldiers coming in?
In the case of contact, will they use live ammunition?
So many questions milled through my mind.
This is where I was hiding with my camera and 6+6=32 in this case? Besides, that white truck was no army truck as army trucks all have green army colors.
Then we drove around to the entrance of the farm, and I asked the security officer at the access point what the army tents were all about.
Surprise, surprise, as the tent camp was being erected for Stage 5 of the Absa Cape Epic cycle race that will take place on the Lourensford Wine estate.
So, the tents are for the racers to sleep in overnight and also to have a bit of rest.
This popular race is held every year and athletes come from far and wide to enter the mountain bike race.

So there you have it! All a totally innocent affair and no need for me to hide at all. It is so amazing how one can get trapped in FUD and only a glance at Twitter and some other social media sites can show one how much FUD gets spread around about crypto. BTC seems to be the main target for the powers to be.
So, the next time that you hear, or read something, the first question to ask yourself is this! Is it the truth?
Many will believe it and pass it on only to be made fools later on, when the real truth emerges. Simply because they are too lazy to research the issues.
