Come and let's inspect this water feature in a farm garden.
A Cherry-eye Sprite Damselfly sat on this young semi-submerged Lotus flower.
We popped out to a local farm for a meeting with my wife's aunt, as now before Christmas everyone seems to want friends and family before Christmas day.
There is an open-air restaurant right next to the garden and some lovely views are available here.
The garden creates a sense of peace and warmth to the song of the water fountains.
Come and have a look.
What a lovely view as I stepped out with my camera.
A Lotus flower, a shadow, and a reflection all in one.
I saw this Emperor Dragonfly coming up slowly in the water channel, and waited to catch him at the sculpture in the water. Luckily he obeyed my directions and he flew into the picture.
Another beautiful reflection here of a Lotus flower set.
A Cherry-eye Sprite Damselfly (Pseudagrion sublacteum) was coupling here.
At the other side of the water channel, another Cherry-eye Sprite was also doing his thing.
Here is a closer look at them.
Finally, just an old winter leaf before it disappears in the summer.
These short outings feel like they create a new breath within me. Stepping away from the madness and the problems of the moment in wonderment can really be like a fresh breath of mountain air. An escape from troubles.
But what troubles, you may ask?
Well, for one our workload has dramatically increased due to the Covid shutdowns of so many small businesses.
And then, Papillon's finances have also dried up. So we have a mountain to climb during this period.
That's it for now in a nutshell, as I do not want to waste my time here complaining. Somehow, like always, we will also get through this.
We hope that you have enjoyed this post.
And That's All Friends!
