I find that embracement works for me. To embrace the fact that I was a fatherless child and that I am responsible for myself. Few people understand me, but it doesn't worry me, as I have embraced it. So my way is to be kind to all others and to expect nothing back.
Loneliness is for the lonely and if one is happpy in the self then very little reallly matters.
