Oh yes, it is so good to see that you also have a noble heart that cares for nature's residents, and it is very true that the animals have adapted to the weather patterns. It is only reasonable that all of us to care in our humane manner, but thankfully one has to also understand that that the wildlife is born with the instincts to protect itself against the vagaries of the weather. As an example, the young squirrels still babies when they came into our garden to feed, and amazingly now in their teenager years, they can manage anything. Even to eat in the rain.

It is however the tame animals in the care of mankind that are seriously lacking, and even if laws exist to cater for their care, some simply ignore it, and just continue to mistreat them. We see many of those cases here where tame animals even need to be euthanized due to mistreatment.
