Oh that's such a shame for the poor birdies...

You know, I know that animals have been out in the freezing weather for tens of thousands of years and have all adapted to the conditions in their owns ways, but I still feel really sorry for them when they have to face weather extremes...we know that they do get cold and freeze to death, we know that they do get overheated, dehydrated and die and I know that that is just the natural world working it's own way, but I still feel sorry for them and wish there was more I could do to help them...

I see the animals in the paddocks over here in all kinds of weather and I fully believe that it should be mandatory for every single farmer in Australia to have sheds- just a roof for shelter in every single one of their paddocks.

just because they have adapted to weather, just because they're "used to it", doesn't mean that they actually like it or should have to live in those conditions without shelter....
