A local public parking lot at the coast was flooded by the incessant rain and the sea birds took advantage of the gift!
Yes, things have been wet here in South Africa lately and we are told that the rain will continue until Sunday evening.
50kkmh winds does not make photography any easier, but where there's a will, there's a way.
Come and have a look!
We arrived to capture the sunset at the ocean on camera, but I saw some photo opportunities in the flooded road!
It was the gold color of the water that caught my eye!
I am sure that you also want to know what created the gold color on the water?
Here below is the answer. The color of that building was reflected in the water and the setting sun did the rest!
But then the sun dropped lower and the color changed back to normal!
Well, like I said, we came to fetch the sunset and it was starting to happen, so it was time to cross over to the beach!
So, now you may ask; "Hey where's the sunshine at the beach photos"?
And I say, wait until tomorrow, as I returned to this parking space when the lights came on and have more beautiful shots to show you tomorrow.
And yes, the sunset was magnificent as you will see!
Now here's another important thing that I want to talk about!

When I see a post with only a few photos and even less words, I simply skip over it.
