Early summer here and time to visit the beach!
We are certainly having funny weather around here lately. Hot and very hot days mixed with cool days and cold nights. But of course the hot days are beach days and a lovely place to be out of the holiday seasons.

The great thing here is that a person can walk on the beach in safety, knowing that there are 24/7 guards around. Sadly the crime situation in South Africa is such that a person has to be forever on guard. But that certainly does not prevent us from trying to live a life of peace and quiet.
In between our charity projects, we thankfully get a lot of free time, which I spend mostly in nature and we are blessed here with mountains, farming and of course the ocean. A place where the unexpected happens so often.
