What's going on and where's my nuts that I stashed in the drain?

I sat in my car watching the squirrel's consternation and he had a serious problem.

A wee bit of humor here to set your Friday off with a smile. As I sat watching the confused squirrel, the thought came to my mind about how often our lives can take an unexpected turn. We go to bed at night and the next morning something unexpected takes place. Normally something drastic and we scurry around confused. The one thing that I have learnt, is that there is a solution for everything. Just as the sun will dry the roads, just so our perceived calamity event will also be sorted out. Life has a way of working itself out.

As you can see below, the road along the railway line was flooded.

What now? I worked so hard to stash my winter nuts and now they are all in a dam.

Confused he scurried around all over the place. Maybe his nuts were floating around somewhere.

Where are they, I cannot see them, where are my nuts?

No, no, no, this can't be happening to me, as yesterday my nuts were still there.

Drat! Somebody must have left a garden tap on and now the road is drowned.

Oh, woe is me, as my nut stash is gone. Now I will have to eat the dog's food for the whole winter, and I wonder if I will turn into a dog.

Talking about a dog, this guy had a quick drink.

We recently had some serious floods here and it's going to take a long time to repair all of the damages to houses, businesses and schools. In fact one school was totally destroyed. The bad news is that more rainstorms will arrive soon, and more damages will occur. In the meantime, we do what we can to help others that struggle during these situations, as I know what hunger is all about.
Such is life here nowadays and the good news is that all of our dams are full.

I hope that you have enjoyed the story and the pictures.

And That's All Friends.
