Who says that a dog waterbowl is for dogs only?
A Happy Friday to all and come and watch the birds cleaning up to enter the new Spring season spikkerish.
We have had some dark and rainy weather these past days and here at the wine farm on the only sunny day, we saw this little Cape Robin Chat (Cossypha caffra) laundering himself in a doggy water bowl.
It took place at an open air restaurant on a wine farm.
Come watch his action.
Yep, this guy took a chance and plunged himself into the water.
Bang! Finished and it seemed that he was asking us, "How was that".
Back at home late afternoon some dove bathing action also took place.
She was displaying the fact to us that she knew what a bird bath was for.
Then her man arrived and of couse he was flaunting his style.
This guy was really doing his bathing stuff.
Calmly and with dignity they did a final pose for me.
Now Harry and Sally, our Egyptian Goose couple dip their bread in the same bird bath and all life in the garden scatters when they arrive. Everyone is scared of Harry, but thankfully Hary and Sally were out of sight.
They were playing somewhere else where they thought was out of sight hahaha.
Now I really hope that this post has delivered a BIG smile to all of you, as I specialize in bringing smiles to people during these difficult times.
My mom said that I would go into my grave with a smile and she was darn right, as I would be seriously disappointed if I arrived at my grave with a frown on my face.
We can take life by it's shirt collar and shake it, or we can mope and let it break us. The choice is ours.
And That's All Friends!
