I hope that I can post some garden residents in here?
This is my first post in the #hivegarden community and I hope that it will be welcomed, as I regularly take photos in our garden that I post in other communities.
We have tried to keep our garden the same as the surrounding nature in the area with similar flowers and construct.
That's why it attracts so many of nature's residents.
Here is a sample for you to view.
We have a family of 7 squirrels living here and this guy was eating the special bread that we feed an Egyptian goose couple in the garden every day.
We also have a pair of Robins nesting here and they are very active in the garden. This one is the male.
A Spotted Thick-toed gecko wanted to climb into our open window.
But I gently coerced him to change his mind :)
And finally I think this is the Robin's wife watching that the squirrel doesn't eat all of the bread :)
Fun and games to interact with the wildlife in our garden and during the warmer months it is much more lively. We are in the winter season now in South Africa and spring season will deliver the normal avalanche of birds, bees, butterflies and all the rest of it.
