This guy was definitely not in a happy Friday mood and I have a laugh here for you.
So of course I was creeping up to get him on camera, but he didn't know that. At times in life things don't work out like we assume they would and in my case most times :)
In any case I think that this bird's stare will also leave you trembling in your shoes.
Come and have a look.
He sat sleeping on a wooden deck on the dam and I approached very softly.
Some pimp bird shouted a warning and the guy took off to land on the other side of the dam.
Now just have a look at that death stare as he fluffed himself :)
So as if to say; I wish a thousand camel fleas will infest your armpits!
Now go, scoot you fink, trying to catch me sleeping!
You can forget eating me you #@..!, I am not a Christmas turkey stupid!
So yes, as you see, birds can also have very bad moods and I wandered off shamefully as I had a nice stew recipe in mind when I approached him.
I didn't ever bother to apologize to him, as that would have just made matters worse and he might have called an army of crows to come and steal my eyeballs. There are times when it's wise to rather leave so that one can make mistakes on another day.
