This is in South Africa and some trees are already getting undressed.
They say that Autumn is the season of colors and I have tried to bring you some lovely colors today.
The way that I see the signs tell me that our first winter rains will arrive soon and then the cold and the storms will start. People in the low laying areas will have to start sand bagging their shacks now as every winter we have areas that are flooded. Severe damages are caused every winter in the Cape of Storms, but the people have always endured.
So now let me show you some colors.
The sky has turned a deeper blue and it's a clear sign that the intense summer heat is fading.
This last waxy moon during the day is my sign that soon the rains will arrive and we will see if I am correct. Might still be a week or two away, but not longer.
I have not captioned each picture today as they can talk to you by themselves and for those in the snow countries far away up north, your spring season is also knocking on the door.
We are at the extreme southern tip of the African continent and so most of the big and angry storms hit us first before they move inland to flood and destroy.
Lately I prefer our warm winter as opposed to the blazing sun in summer, but when I was younger, the sun didn't bother me. Strange that age can change a person like this, but such is life.
In any case, I hope that you have enjoyed the pictures.
And That's All Friends!
Oh! I forget. Tomorrow I will show you a real African sunset, so keep an eye out for the post
Here is an example.
