A happy Friday to all! Yes, it's wet here, but that doesn't mean that the animals and birds will stop eating!
We are told that it will rain until Sunday and of course we are happy, as the country needs the water.
So yes, we got wet this morning delivering 8 new notebooks (laptops) to a new non profit partner, but like the animals, we simply endure the wet and do our thing.
Come and look what's happening in our garden!
Baby sparrows using plant leaves as umbrellas!
The squirrel burying nuts!
Look at all of the peanut plants growing here!
They forget where they bury the nuts and soon we will have peanut fields in the garden.
Golden weaver at the right and a Ring-neck dove at the left in the rain!
Of course Marian put feed out for everyone early this morning!
Our lovely Rock pigeons were also around in the rain!
The Robin's wife told him to fix a leak in their nest!
Look at the water drops on the Ringneck dove's back!
Finally, even a little Gecko took a bath here in the rain!
So what is the lesson here you may ask?
A simple lesson, as the animals show us that rain is a natural part of life and that there's no reason to fear getting wet.
Yes, of course, storms are another matter, but normal rain is a blessing to growth in nature, as any farmer will tell you.
I remember the times that I slipped and slid on a tractor in the rain, but the job had to get done.
They say that instead of complaining, we should rather learn how to dance in the rain 😁
