First the cloudy colored mountains and then the moon.
The winds were playing the game of havoc and tumbled the colored clouds. We have a power cut at 12 noon and I have a lot to do before then, but as usual my first daily post enjoys priority.
One can only stare in awe as the clouds are tumbled along the mountain range. Taken at a distance in bad light on my zoom last night did not affect the beauty too much. On the next occasion that I see this, I will simply drive to the foot of the mountains.
But come look and enjoy.
It was late afternoon and I was waiting for the sunset.
What a majestic sight and I was really surprised by the colors.
Here was a view of another section of the mountains.
And as it started, so soon it was over. A quick view of supreme beauty before nightfall as the sun was going down.
In my book a quick view lasts about 30 minutes.

And now for the moon!
The dense cloud was slowly clearing the moon's face.
It really looked as if the cloud was behind the moon, but no it was the moons brilliance that created the effect.
Oh yes, I knew that I would get a clear shot in a gap before the other clouds came along.
And there she was in her full glory.
All of the photos were taken by me last night and tonight it will be full moon. Looking at the sky right now it is fairly clear with a low wind, but this can change in minutes. So, I only hope that I will not have to wait too long tonight to get what they call the full "Blood Moon". Who knows, maybe I will get lucky and the cloud will stay away.
