We (the society) can only try to reduce but can't completely eradicate the misuse and abuse of drug. Governments are really trying to curb the problem by setting up strict measures but the effort of the government alone cannot stop the misuse of drug, the society should support the government too in stopping the misuse of drug in the society. And ways we can stop or curb the misuse of drug include
1) Organizing sensitization programs so as to sensitize the youth on the dangers of misuse of drug and how to stop it.
2) Creating clubs that will fight against youth abusing drugs
3) By reporting to the appreciate authority when we see where drug is been sold illegally.
4) Parent should educate their children early on the dangers of abusing drugs. And check the kind of friends their wards are walking with.
5) Public sign posts that will educate youths on misuse of drugs.
6) Passing and sharing of video clips that will educate the youths on dangers of abusing drugs via social media .
These are the few things that can be done but other things can be done depending on the type of environment you are
