I must admit I've found myself shooting more black and white than usual, sometimes this is actually shot in black and white, that is I';ve selected black and white in camera (generally Fujifilm's Acros setting) which means the jpegs and the screen on the back of the camera are in mono, but I also shot RAW files so I get a second unaltered file which is in colour.
And that is the story here, the original was monochrome, which is how I was trying to see the world that day, which by the way was my only guaranteed time in London which I would get to take some photos, the Sunday between landing from the massive flight from Australia and starting work on the Monday so I was on a deadline, but back to the photos, when I got home and post processed I realise this photo also works in Colour, admittedly there is not a lot of colour in it just the cool blues of cloudy sky and the difference between that and the black of the building draws the eyes to couple which I want you to notice. This building is across from St Pauls so people are posing with the cathedral in the background, but then that is reflected multiple times in the glass.
I think I like the colour version a little better, but I would be keen to hear your thoughts. Scrolling through this post I'm also starting to think I should crop out the frankly pretty poor overexposure at the top
