In these times in my country it has become a terrible custom to say goodbye to your loved ones .. Due to the situation millions of Venezuelans emigrate daily, in search of a better future, new alternatives, or simply to achieve that peace that unfortunately in our country right now we do not have it ..
Everyone leaves with a suitcase full of dreams and aspirations, but above all with a little piece of the heart of all the loved ones they leave here.
In my case I have had to fire many, first it was my best friend ..
His name is Juan Diego, he left Chile a little over 1 year ago, in search of a better future. Fortunately, it has gone very well.
Then, 7 months ago my best friend went to Canada. Her name is Maria Fernanda. We have been friends since we were 11 years old. She was always one of those people who never thought of emigrating, but this situation forced her and a wonderful opportunity in Canada was presented to her and she could not refuse it.
(We are the center)
The others are my other best friends who "for now" have not emigrated because they are waiting to finish their studies ...
Apart from them I have had to dismiss several family and friends but without a doubt the saddest and most painful for me was more than 4 months ago ...
On September 9, I had to say goodbye to my boyfriend ... Whoever more than my boyfriend in these almost two years has been my best friend and my favorite company for everything, my accomplice, my confidant and my strength, my love life without a doubt ..
From the first moment we both feel as if we have known each other for a lifetime, they say that this is how you feel when you find your soul mate.
It was a farewell just like a soap opera, sad but hoping to find us again in a short time or not ...
We decided to continue with our relationship, knowing that it was not going to be easy .. it is not easy at all .. on the contrary, it is too difficult, to feel the days go by without seeing it through a medium that is not a cell phone screen, a photo, a call..
See other people with their partners being happy together while you long to give them a hug, a kiss ...
Unfortunately, this country situation forced us to physically separate but our love is so strong that we both know that we will be able to do this and with much more. With a lot of patience and effort we know that together we will move forward ..
My boyfriend, Juancho, as we all say to him of affection, went to Argentina, to learn more about his passion that is the kitchen ... Fortunately he has been excellent and we hope to see us very soon.
For now we stand up knowing that each day that passes is one less than missing to see us.
What if I want to leave?
... The truth in my plans was never to leave my country, to leave behind my city, my people, my family, my friends ... But this situation is something that escapes from the hands of all, my thought is to finish my university career and if everything goes as planned we have to go to Argentina with my boyfriend ..
Sadly my country is leaving many young people, professionals, working people ... Sad for us but a gift for other countries.
We all hope that this situation in my beautiful Venezuela changes, so that all those who have left will return with their hands full of enthusiasm to move our country forward.
And if I'm a bit nostalgic but I hope you like this post that came from my heart, thank you!
