Apricots falling from the trees in abundance

We had some very nice family time over at Lee and Katia's today. No need for me to post about it because Lee, my son, already did.

We were invited to visit our other South African friends Shawn and Michelle on their little farm because they said their apricots were falling off the trees - there were so many. I was not able to go because tomorrow is a public holiday and it seems the whole family have been busy with one thing or another.

I can only hope they save a few apricots for me because I do love them.

I'm really enjoying it - on a slice of toast and cut up into smaller pieces - it taste's like a really exceptional marmalade.
