1.Equal Opportunity - All Monsters have the Opportunity ability.
2.Up Close Personal - Only Monsters with Melee attack may be used in battles.
3.52 mana
4.Only Life, Water & Death Deck
This is a 52 mana match allocation. Only 3 types of decks are usable, neutral monster can be summon to aid in the fight. From what i guess i choose Death Deck as the last few matches played by the opponent are mostly melee/ range lineup and fighting against melee/ range the best deck is the one that enable to summon mostly "Shield" ability or armor monsters. However i am not able to use Fire Deck in this match and from the cards i have for the usable decks Death Deck is very suitable to be used as my Death Summoner reduce the HP of the opponent monsters, although with the armor nor "Shield" ability ,this already gives advantage to my monsters even before the commencing of the match. I always like to use Thaddius Brood not just only its level but also its ability good against both magic melee/range opponents.
Thaddius Brood 4 mana
Cursed Windeku 6 mana
Night Ghoul 11 mana
Disintegrator 7 mana
Silent Sha-vi 5 mana
Possessed Puppet 7 mana
Sand Worm 9 mana
Total 49 mana
After finalizing my summoner mana left is 48. For such a "Heavy" mana match a strong tanker must definitely be summon to protect your whole lineup thus i choose Cursed Windeku as my main tanker against opponent first monster. From my playing experience a very high percentage of times a melee monster will be summoned. Therefore the "Thorn" ability will be very effective in this scenario even if you met with magic team a HP of 10 is higher than most of the Death Deck monster and should be more than able to buy some time. However a summoning cost of 6 is a big "problem" some times.
Mana Left 42
I choose Night Ghoul as my next tank. Although it is a melee monster and melee monster are not able to attack at the 2nd position but i purposely place it at the 2nd position as i want to spread out the damage for the first opponent monster to attack my Cursed Windeku and not the Night Ghoul. Since this match has this "Equal Opportunity" so Night Ghoul ability "Taunt" is very effective in playing in this match limitation.
Mana Left 31
Most of the time i like to have a "balance" team with 3 tanker and 3 attacker. Therefore i summon Disintegrator. Putting it at the 3rd position because of it's "Demoralize" which lessen the damage of melee attack of opponent monsters as i already assumed that i will be facing a melee team, this ability will be put to good use.
Mana Left 24
I choose Silent Sha-vi as my first Sneak attacker high speed and high attack and high HP also making it to be one of the most powerful Sneak monsters available at the moment.
Mana Left 19
A new monster from Splinterlands which is not available in the market for purchase. Although at a high mana of 7 a high speed and attack of 2 seems pretty decent even with a HP of only 3. However i make a mistake by placing it at the last 2nd position as melee monsters will not be able to attack at any position other than first.
Mana Left 12
Lastly will be the Sand Worm although slow but the attack damage is high enough to take down a monster in either 1 or 2 turns.
Round 1:
Round 2:
Round 3:
The opponent indeed use a melee team lineup which was what i assume and my Disintegrator will be able to perform here, choosing the right "summoner" with my Disintegrator ability gives me great advantage on this match.
My strategy of adding Disintegrator for its "Demoralize" ability works pretty well in this match. If you did pay attention to the opponent monsters Night Ghoul is a couple of level above my Night Ghoul and by right my Night Ghoul will probably be down first however it is the other way round. Disintegrator weaken the attack power of the opponent monsters and making my Night Ghoul survive longer and eventually win this match.
I haven't really have the chance to use it as it is melee a monster and only got 3 HP but at the same time a mana of 7 is needed to summon it. So is like neither can fit into "Little league" nor "heavy" mana match.
