Life and success are one of sweetest we experience has humans. It feels good to be alive and especially when we accomplish something worthy or when we achieve our goals and dreams.
But the challenge is, they involve risk. Almost everything in this life involves a certain measure of risk. Because there so many things and situations we cannot control. Thus you cannot do, plan or even think of doing without risks involved crossing your mind. However the bigger the risk the greater the reward.
People who have accomplished big things, people who have achieved their goals and those who have being successful, they have not done that under perfect conditions or because they had perfect situations neither favorable atmosphere. Nevertheless they took the risk and they made it. Nothing will be different with you, as long as you live under the sun, your are facing the same challenges and risks in everything you want to do.
So it is not wise or helpful to procrastinate, to fear even forsake going after your dreams, career, adventure etc, because of the risks. If being alive is a risk because you may fall sick and die, if travelling is a risk because you may get involved in accident and die or get a life time disability, if walk around is a risk because something may happen to you, then is not wise to fear risks, where great rewards are a possibility.

There will never be risk free business, career, relationship, possibility, opportunity and potential. And if you are waiting for a perfect time, opportunity, situation, possibility and partner you will wait all your life and you find none, because it is about the potential behind what you want to go after is not about the perfection of the conditions.
If you want to learn about what you're about to do, learn all you can. If you want to plan that's fine, plan wisely with great details. If you want to consult and ask for help you can do so, it is the right way to do things. But risks will always be there.
This does not mean you should be reckless in what do nope! When you're reckless in anything and find yourself in trouble, do not attribute it to neccesary risks. Risks are risks and recklessness is recklessness. Most risks have nothing to do with you or any other person. Risks are things beyond our control.
What can you do with what you cannot control? You focus on what you can control, and that is you. Prepare yourself to go after your
dream. Though even you sometimes, you may feel inadequate but focus on your potential and desire.
As I conclude I will leave you with the things that should determine what you should go for
Is it real you? Its not that you're trying to copy somebody, does it come from your heart?
How big or satisfying is the reward
What are you willing to risk, what are you ready to sacrifice.

How big is your desire
